It "behaves" the same, from a user perspective, but that doesn't
necessarily mena a hardware match.
I hate the idea that every keyboard with the
funny symbol must carry
an acknoledgement to MS on the bottom. I wonder if there's a royalty
that goes along with it, or if it's bundled in with the Windows
license.
AH, but what happens when the computer company sells a computer with an OS
other than Windoze? Does Microsoft still demand that the windoze license
be paid on EVERYTHING that the company makes, including Linux machines?

Even if not, MS would certainly demand their gram of
flesh for the use of
their trademarked "dry rot" (with pieces dribbling off) logo. MS
presented the "new" logo at the 1991 Developers' Conference, and was
surprised that they didn't get enthusiastic response.
