The PC (5150) ALWAYS had space for TWO floppy drives.
The XT had space for one, with the other bay occupied by a 10M drive.
It was possible to get the XT with 2 floppy drives (and no hard drive).
My XT came like that, and AFAIK both drives are original (they are both
IBM-badged).
