I do the same thing. I routinely watch auctions that never get a bid
and watch plenty of things on which I never bid. I watch them so that
I can keep an idea on what kinds of prices are being fetched for
certain kinds of items. Other times I just watch to see if anyone is
stupid to bid on an inflated price.
