I can't explain it; I just think it's ugly. My dad says that using an amber
monitor makes him physically ill. It doesn't do that to me, but I just don't like
it.
But speaking of flashbacks, I have a deep and abiding dislike of all things Compaq, due
mostly to my association of them with the amber monitors they provided in the 1980s.
I wonder if I can learn to like the amber monitor in my new 5155? Maybe it can be an
acquired taste, like anchovies? :)
