Actually; It's not really a stepdown transformer, it has a middle point on the
primary in the transformer to drive 110v equipment! Like the drives and the fans! I think
it's common solution here for american products, you can still use some 110v stuff
inside the machine so long it can handle 50Hz instead of 60Hz!Kenny

Hi! Not so common! I'm in Sweden and the mains is 220v/50Hz but it has a stepdown
transformer! Original it has been 110v/50Hz, but of course 220v just fine too! But for the
right speed it's important it has the right size wheels, which differ between 50Hz and
