Or is the "<>" vs. "!=" a
bit like the Return vs. Enter argument
(e.g. it depends what computer/s you were brought up/trained on).
I wouldn't say that. I grew up learning Commodore BASIC, but I hardly
use it now, instead using Algol-derived languages like Perl and C which
use != (thus I use "!=" > "<>").
