I've more of these than anyone will need and they're all brand new.
3 packs of Bernoulli 5.25 44meg disks
KAO 5.25 88meg syquest disks. The label inside says they are formatted for
Macs but includes software for wintel machines also.
$1 each plus whatever for shipping and they're yours. Just say how many you
want.

Does anyone have docs for this beastie? it's an apple-II on a card that
goes into an XT... or does anyone have any interest in it? it's been
sitting on my shelf for ~ 12 years now...

Well, the Univac III is back: UNIVAC III Computer (In Storage since 1975),

OK, somebody, jump right on it! :-)

Certainly, there are a lot of logic analyzsers (or
analysers, if you are English) floating around. I was
told by a guy who specializes in "refurbished" (i.e.
dusted off) test equipment that this is because a lot
of it is gov't surplus where they just grab the unit.
He also mentioned that a lot of university surplus has
partially blown pods because of carelessness - due to
the nature of what they do, not much protection on the
inputs.
I have a Tek 1230 which I was lucky enough to get some
pods with. I had another one w/o pods and GOOD LUCK on
getting schematics, etc on this stuff - it's a "black
art" proprietary sort of thing.

Is there any difference in the cartridges for
an RK05F drive vs. an RK05J (or plain RK05)?
I just acquired an RK05F and am getting ready
to hook it up to my system along with my RK05J
drives so I can test it out. I know the pack
holds twice as much data as the RK05/RK05J, but
is there any physical difference in the packs?
I suppose I'll have to reconfigure my existing
RK05J drives so that the RK05F is either drives
0/1 or 2/3 (or 4/5).
Thanks,
Ashley
Hello Gents & Ladies,
anyone here know anything about the physical dimensions of
UNIBUS and Q-BUS boards? I'd like to know, that's all.
Thank you for your time and efforts.

Just an FYI and an update...
I'm in the final arrangements to purchase this machine... all that is
left is to arrange the shipping. Fortunately, I'm local to the place
that has it, so I'm paying them to deliver it to my house (it's
reasonable enough that my renting a truck and moving it myself would
cost more).
For now, it's probably going in my garage, where I can inspect, clean
and test the parts. As each piece is tested, I'll move it into my home
office (after I make room) and continue from there. I guess everyone
needs a restoration project to occupy their free time? :)
I don't know the status of the disks, so I'm not even sure if it has an
OS on it... if anyone has any pointers to an Eclipse RDOS or AOS/VS
boot tape, I'd love to be put in touch with them!
Thanks.
