what is the black chip in the 2nd picture? Looks like a memory manager, though the '030 don't need it.

On the upside, I also snagged the IBM keyboard cable he had listed, which was perfect for my spare cable-less Model M that I've had sitting for over a decade. After a good cleaning the cable doesn't look half bad. It has a few ink stains, but I've seen far worse, and the SDL plug latches are intact, so it should work just fine.
