Certainly doable. Jim Kearney's IOB6120 does a nice VT52
emulation; adding an LCD driver to that (given enough FPGA space)
would be a project, but it'd be doable.
Might make an
interesting coversation piece.
I think a 12-bit hand-held would be pretty cool.
