Are they running old tape devices on it?
Tape? Not that I know of. In principle iSCSI can handle tape, but I don?t
know if it?s been done at all, never mind in Linux.

How would you connect old tapes to iSCSI? There are modern tapes with Fibre SCSI
interfaces but would you actually connect the thing up....
