Yes, the DM is not much like what we think of today as a GUI,
although technically, that's what it is.
While we're on the subject, I have a copy of the DOMAIN System User's
Guide (ca. SR9) available in PDF format on my website. It paints a
pretty thorough picture of how the DOMAIN system is really nothing
like UNIX or X11.
