Could someone
tell me what the last version of Macintosh
System to run on
68K machines was? Where can I get a copy?
According to LowEndMac it's either 7.6.1 or 8.1 depending on the machine....

8.1 is right, but you need a 68040.
Well, not really. Amiga Mac emulators bypass that requirement, IIRC, and there
is a similar program for real Macs. There is some info on LowendMac about
that.
