Hey, my university (Rochester Institute of Technology) still has two
VAXes and two Alphaservers, all running VMS, to do registration. Up
until about two or three years ago, all of our email was handled by
those machines too.
These people are probably thinking of switching over to Windows, too,
which is really sad. I think there are plenty of people at RIT who
would like to do the same, but there is no way they'll get anything as
useful as our VMS registration system.
