I have a similar stereo microscope but have never
used it for soldering. I do use it to read the tiny
surface mount resistor values.

Yes,
I think I have the same, bought it moth ago, and I'm
pretty happy with it.
However, this little LED light is nice for checking out something,
if you like to solder under the microscope, get more lights from the
side ...
