any source for a replacement tube for a vt100 type terminal ?
Specially, a long persistence phosphor type (vt640, retro graphics) ?

The picture tube from an IBM 5151 display ought to work. That's about as long a
persistence as they get...

Not even by a long shot. The yellow/orange phosphors
used on some
radar equipment could take many seconds to decay.
