I just bought a PDP-8e that has been sitting in a warehouse for a long time. It came with a SYKES Datatronics diskette subsystem, but without the Omnibus interface board. The I/O board in the SYKES card cage says "8-bit interface". The diskette drives are made by Orbis. Does anyone have information about this SYKES diskette subsystem or the Orbis diskette drives?
