I believe they do some history work in http://www.acm.org/sigs/sigcomm/ ...
There's also SIGCIS within the Society for the History of Technology.
What's your spontaneous interest in this?

Definitely. I am an ACM member, and joined the IEEE
Computer Society as an affiliate for the express
purpose of subscribing to the Annals. The archives
back to day 1 are all available online when you have a
print subscription.

I don't find any official page on ACM's site for SIGCIS. Is it now
called "Computers and Society" SIGCAS?

I've been a member of ACM since '88. My IEEE membership lapsed (shame
on me) several years ago and I need to renew. My ACM membership is
also up for renewal. I figured while I'm renewing, I might add some
SIG memberships that are relevant to my obsession^Whobby :-).
