Any further luck? You have my curiosity. Been trying to get any HD to work with my
Max80. Was considering bidding on a XEBEC 1410A but not sure if that will work or not
from your description. SASI controllers are a bit hard to find at this point in time. My
plan is to try to get one to work with LDOS and perhaps CP/M at some point. We should
keep in touch.

Yes, I did get it working by blowing a new PROM from the v1.3 image on the
system diskette.
I'm not entirely sure if the 1410a will work - it's been a few months and
I don't remember the details.
CP/M is working perfectly, but I have no idea if the Lobo port of LDOS
ever supported hard disks. I haven't been able to find even a shred of
documentation about LDOS on Lobo. Only got as far as booting an 80-track
DS/DD diskette.

It just came back to me: The 1410a did appear to work properly, but the
50-pin header was located in the wrong position for mounting in the case I
had.
Obviously, YMMV.
