All,
My neighbor has a Cannon Softwriter Pro 5000. It's in like-new
condition and is in a box, packed for shipping, ready to go. It seems
to have a monochrome VGA screen, all books and accessories, etc.
I remember someone saying they collected these kinds of things. Is
this something you'd be interested in? Otherwise, it's off to the
dump.

You might consider hanging onto the CRT that goes with the
thing--monochrome VGA. Used to be not uncommon back in the early days
of VGA, almost completely unseen nowadays. Looks like a nice
flat-screen version, too.
