Other people have said that about the battery life on the LED model but the
one I have on my desk has had the same 9V battery for more than a year, and is
still working fine. It does power-off fairly quickly if left idle. I normally
use it only a couple of times a day but I have no complaints about battery
life...
But, the most CONVENIENT one of all, if your presbyopia hasn't gotten
too bad, is the Casio CFX-40 and CFX-400 ("scientific calculator"
wrist watch)
