But-- USB has some killer applications like fans, fish
tanks and
personal vibrators.
Err... yes.
The most stupid one I saw was a coffee cup warmer. Stupid because IIRC
the maximum current a USB device can draw is 1A (after negotiation with
the host). And the supply is 5V./ A 5W heater is not going to do a lot in
keeping coffee warm.
I am sure I saw an advert for a 'USB Pet Rock' once....
