When NT 4.x came out, MS marketing droids made a
big deal out if being
99 44/100% portable C code, and how they were going to port it to
EVERY computer. (even the impossible ones)
That was after BillG declared that Visual BASIC (or whatever it was
called at the time) was going to be the mainstay of all computer
programming.
But then, PL/I was supposed to solve all of the tower of Babel
problems.
Is there a web implementation of JOVIAL yet?
