It can be done, but you'd better have a pile of charged batteries.
Two batteries and a good quality tool will do just fine.
Battery-powered circular saws are also a
joke--I've yet to see one
that could hold its own against my worm-drive Skilsaw.
Get a modern one.
Cordless tools have changed a lot in the past ten years. Technology marches on.
