size.
ISTR the later ones (there were three types, I / II / III), probably III
and shipped with the Duo 280 / 2300, were NiMH.
I have three dead batteries sitting here for a Duo 280c, but haven't found
the courage and round tuits yet to open one and see if it can be rebuilt.
