The OLDER Microsoft Bus Mouse used a DE9.
The NEWER Microsoft Bus Mouse went to a silly connector.
The change was to get people to stop plugging them into video boards, and
plugging monitors into the bus mouse board. It happened. A lot.
Sometimes carelessness, sometimes the same people who wanted gender
changers to interchange serial and parallel ports.
