What I find amusing is that my wife records (on
Tivo) a 'daytime
drama' (soap opera) and watches it on the large-screen.
These shows
have the lowest production quality of anything ever aired
My wife records a soap opera during the day, General Hospital, on our
HD
Tivo. It easily is in the top 10% of the highest quality images that
I've ever seen on our TV. The image is incredibly sharp, color
vibrant,
detail is fantastic. I'm not sure if it's the cameras, the video
processing they use, or what, but it looks pretty damn good.
I hate to come to the defense of soap operas, but this has been my
experience.
