Ronson Lighter fluid also works well.

The GOO gone product line works well for most things (reminds me I need to
get some more). I like the label remover stuff they make, no idea what is
inside.
There are plenty of nasty solvents that will remove pretty much anything
organic/petroleum based (MEK for one), but they will damage the plastic and
are harmfull to humans as well.
