NOTE: if you use ASANTE NICs, I found out that they
don't always like to
establish a connection with a 100mb hub/router. To get this mac working, I
had to plug it into a 10mb hub, and then into the router.
I found the same problem with the Asante PDS NIC in my Color
Classic and my dual-speed Netgear DS108. So far it's the only NIC
to have this problem.
