I do not understand the propensity of humans to WANT noise, be it the
nerve-jangling rumble of a Harley-Davidson exhaust or the continuous
oozing of garbage from a radio.
Ah, but artificially created "emulation" noise has the distinct advantage
that it could be EASILY disabled! You can't turn off the noise of the
real thing.
