You're confusing official policy with reality. Was Megaupload bad?
I don't think so--but look what happened to them. TPB has been the
target of massive government efforts to smash it.
Perhaps I'm overly paranoid, but that doesn't mean that they're not
out to get me.
And nowhere, save North Korea and perhaps Iran, is the government
more aggressive in trying to stamp out file-sharing than in the USA.
If you want to rant at someone, go rant to your elected
representatives.
