It depends on what you're looking at of course. Usually a good item
is lumped in with crap you don't want. Ask a shipping agent if
there's a possibility that they could just haul certain items to the
local dump if you know you don't want them.
The best is if you can find items that are local to you. That's what
I've bought in the past, to avoid shipping hassles, but honestly its
usually just the case that the stuff I want is in the middle of 18
pallets of stuff at a remote location.
