This wasn't a new idea either (the Janus board) -- the Apple ][ had
CP/M cards on them. I remember a scientist that had this tricked out
Apple ][ with data acquisition hardware that he used to automate some
of his lab work and a CP/M card he had plugged into it so he could run
Wordstar to write up his research!
