If you can find a copy of xtree. It not only has a
great file
and dirctory handler, one can view and edit files, displayed in
HEX....
Yeah, I used XTree for *many* years under DOS. Can't recommend it highly
enough, though I personally prefer the earlier versions.
Used it in preference to M$ Windows until I finally gave in and got Win95
around 1997. In fact, to this day, I use "Windows Explorer" to manage my
data in much the same way I used XTree....it's the first program I fire
up....
