I have been unable to make SSSD disks on a PC. Is there any way I can now
make one with the SSDD Osborne?

Hi Hans
The biggest trouble with making SSSD on a PC is that
you should use a SD drive. If you have a DD drive, the
track width is smaller ( assuming that we are talking
about 5-1/4 inch drives). In an emergency, one can place
the disk on a flat iron metal surface, ( I use the refrigerator )
then a few pieces of paper and drag a strong magnet over
the entire disk. You then reformat the disk with whatever density
you like and it will work on SD drives. You can not use
preformated disk because the DD drive doesn't completely
erase the original track. It is still best to us a SD drive.
