mgetty should be a start. Some edits to /etc/ttys and off you go, if I
understand it correctly.
You'll only be able to support v.34 (33,600 bps) speeds because v.90/v.92
56kbps access requires high-end telephony hardware and a digtal phone network
connection (e.g. ISDN, T1).
