Interesting. In my LISP class, we used "Lisp, Objects and Symbolic
Programming" by Bob Kessler. Probably because the class was taught by
Bob Kessler :-). Steele was a 2nd book that I got as a reference. I
seem to recall it might have been an optional text for the class, but
that was 20+ years ago.
I wouldn't want to learn CommonLISP from Steele, that would not be so
great. It seems Tatar's book is available used for ~$5 so I might get
it some time.
