Thinking aobut it, the 9810 doesn't have the blinkenlights panel and is a
lot less expandable. It's also a lot slower (being bit-serial, this
series is one of the few common-ish bit-serial machines built from simple
components).
On the otehr hand :
The 9810 is a lot smaller and lighter. It'll do something useful on its
own without interface boards, peripherals, etc. And it's easier to get
spares for (it's almost all TTL, IIRC the 2100A used some odd 'Current
Transfer Logic' ICs).
