The difficulty is that you're using the Win95
machine as your
router/bridge, and Win95 is not the best choice for providing this
kind of service. I know there are products out there that should
do it, but I've never had real cause to research them and I don't
know what there is in freeware.
I don't want the nic1 from cable side seen thru nic2 or anything
else. Just normal as is as before.
nic2 all it needs is accessed by thru that nic2 to that local HD on
that win95sux not all thru to net. And NFS enabled on that nic2.
Otherwise:
I do: box1 nic1 tcpip cablemodem, nic2 with NetBEUI --- to
very basic stripped down box2 nic3 NetBEUI and a nic4 set as TCP/IP
with NFS server enabled. box 3 with nic5 sucks up all the stuff for
linux installation thru all that babble off that box1 for data not
from net with a firewall. :)
