In a way, I'm sort of in the same boat. I've got a nice old
Emerson "portable" 5 inch color TV here that also has an AM/FM
broadcast receiver built in. Takes a sealed lead-acid 12v battery
pack. TV tuning is continuous over 3 bands.
After the switch to DTV, it'll be good for a radio only. I've
thought about using it for a mini CGA-type display, but that seems a
little ridiculous, considering the size of the whole luggable thing.
