Assuming you've got an existing broken power supply to scrounge the
square-DIN cable from, then an ordinary PC power supply will work fine
for an A500/A600/A1200 (and support more peripherals than the stock PSU,
plus providing some handy connectors for disk drives). A friend and I
both did this for our Amiga setups in the mid-90s.
