YouTube video to repair screen rot

This demonstrates a technique to repair screen rot on a vintage television set. <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l1EoMmmOcQ> Nekochan.net's blog reports that he used the technique on an ADM-3A: <http://www.nekochan.net/weblog/archives/2008/10/adm-3a-screen-r.html> I hadn't seen this mentioned here before and screen rot problems have come up often in discussions of vintage terminals. He uses a heat gun to separate the layers instead of a nichrome wire as has been discussed here previously.
