It's a very big deal in ?the PC world. A preview release has been
available since the MICROS~1 "BUILD" conference, about a week ago.
I want to see *precisely* where MS said that Win32 and .Net are being
deprecated. ?I'm calling shennanigans.
MS didn't; it's in the analysis. It's not a big leap of deduction, though.
Well the problem is that both their new Lightswitch & upcoming Visual
Studio 2011 products both fully support the .Net environment. To me, the
only thing that would make .Net better is if the stupid compiler actually
generated native code instead of that runtime crap. Until that point, my
choice for speed under Win32 is going to be Delphi or C++ Builder.
(speaking of which Delphi XE2/C++ Builder XE2 came out a couple of weeks
ago with support for iOS and MacOS)

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical
