With an embedded CRT controller (e.g. 6845) and some memory you could build
an tiny / cool / goofy terminal ;-) You probably also need a small CPU in
it. Attach a mini keyboard, build it together in one housing, wrote some
software. AFAIK, the vt4 project from Bob Armstrong connects to a VGA
monitor. Pity, because the vt4 will also connect a PS/2 keyboard.
Maybe a vt4 plus VGA->composite conversion?
