A cat skin will work just as well as a cat--and doesn't eat as much.
Or a one teacher at schookl put it 'Ye old ebonite rods and the pieces of
cat' :-)
However, I don't have a problem generating static, I have a problem
keeping it down. I don't need a piece of cat skin to add to the problem.
I do need the cats because they are useful in many other ways (vermin
control, bed warming, an alarm clock (although I wish I could work out
how to set it....) etc.
Somehow I seem to have managed to "program" our furry "alarm clock"
(the
black tomcat) to trigger around 0830 (with the regular (electronic) alarm
clock firing at 0820). Unfortunately, I haven't yet managed to add the
concept of "weekends" ... which means I'll get woken up at 0830 on a
saturday/sunday morning: "Why are you still asleep, don't you have to get
up and go to work??". *sigh*
Cats. Sometimes they can be so annoying but one can't live without the
little furry cute bastards ;-)
Kind regards,
Alex.
