happens when you take a technology firm out of the hands of engineers
and give it to "business" CEOs.
And it's not a new problem, either. It has happened time and time again.
What's going on seems obvious, though. Apotheker was at HP for less
than a year, did basically nothing but make half-assed decisions the
whole time, and is likely to walk with 38 MILLION dollars.
There's a term for that: "Strip mining".
Damn suits.
