Dave,
You wouldn't happen to be talking about Xilinx's memory controller,
would you? I get a ton of warnings. And it's surprising when they design
both the controller and synthesizer.
Altera's IDE has a way of suppressing "similar" warnings, or suppressing
warnings that contain text.
It's not ideal, obviously, better not to have the warnings --- but at
least you can hide the false warnings so that the real ones are more
visible.
