The comment that other things are hard to find
makes me wonder: what
about Philips minicomputers? Chances of finding them in the USA are
slim to none, but what about Europe? I did my first hands-on
programming on a 24 bit Philips mini (P9200 ???), at the Evoluon in
Eindhoven. It has some fascinating design aspects. I still have a
few pages of code, though no manuals or anything else.
There were lots of minicomputer makers. For example, I've seen no discussion on
Varian minis and darned little on TI 990s or CDC 1700s, as a start.
