I remember them from back in the day. While you might have some setup
and configuration issues with an MD21 and a random ESDI drive, didn't
these work pretty well if you used SunOS to low-level format them? (of
course, not everyone has an ancient Motorola-CPU Sun lying around and
working, but maybe a SPARC1 or SPARC2 and SunOS 4.x might do?)
