so there is this stuff:
BA213 skunk box containing many cards
including a ?3500? and a II (don't power it up until you've configured the
system you want!) and a MicroVax 2000 client / server pair with a TK50.
safe in a basement. . .
and under a tarp since this evening (its raining hard ;/ but we needed to
compromise for a weeks grace) :
PMAX DECstations (3100 and 5100) and other random crap (3100 style storage
expansion boxes, LAT terminal servers etc. G3 mac)
till tuesday when it will be thrown out. you'd make some old hoarders happy
(and save a trip to the dump) if you can pick them up ASAP.

Hi!
Someone told me that old SUN external HD boxes (3/xx) had an internal
ESDI to SCSI adapter.
I'm looking for such a beast: it would make the backup and imaging step
easier, since many old machine I own have ESDI (now rare) disks...

Where are u located? I still have a few old Sun external hdd enclosures.
BTW, your Retrocomputer page below comes up with a whole host of errors after the pics
load, at the bottom of the page.

I remember them from back in the day. While you might have some setup
and configuration issues with an MD21 and a random ESDI drive, didn't
these work pretty well if you used SunOS to low-level format them? (of
course, not everyone has an ancient Motorola-CPU Sun lying around and
working, but maybe a SPARC1 or SPARC2 and SunOS 4.x might do?)
