looks like thats a vacume tape drive
I just got them in the mail today. They went to the trouble of running
what looks like actual magnetic tape around the reels and into loops
in each window. The computer guts appear to be a small photograph on
an actual system glued on. I wonder what these were originally for.
There are no markings at all on them. Since none of the info I found
online mentions a tape drive for these and the tape drive is way over
detailed maybe it was someone trying to sell the Navy a tape drive for
these.
